How Can I Consign Books?
Maybe you have books taking up space on your shelves, or perhaps there's one you just couldn't get into; you might even have one you've read so much that you've memorized it! If you have books you won't read anymore, consign them with us!
You can drop your books off anytime during store hours. There is no limit to the amount of books you can bring in, but we do ask that they are in like new to gently used condition. You can read about our stipulation in the Consignment Contract below.

Bound for Books is not responsible for any fire or water damage, theft, or destruction of your gently used books.

Books will be approved upon drop off. We ask that you take back any books that we do not deem sellable at drop off.

In order to consign your books, only novels that are in good condition will be accepted as we want to offer the best selection to our shoppers! Books that are torn, have highlighting or markings, have worn bindings or covers, are missing dust jackets, or are marked as "free" or "not for sale" will not be accepted. We do not accept textbooks, magazines, comic books, political books, or library books. Cookbooks may be dropped off as donation only.

Prices will be determined by condition and popularity of book, not to exceed 50% of the retail price.

Consignor will receive 40% of books once they are sold. Money in the account can be used as store credit or be cashed out at any time. When you checkout or stop in, simply let us know the name on your account.

The consignment period is 6 months. After 6 months consigned books will become the property of Bound for Books to be sold or donated. You are welcome to retrieve your unsold books before that 6 month term is up.

Books must be clear of garage sale stickers.

Accounts that show no activity (no drop offs or use of credits) for 1 year will be closed and money forfeited.

We are now consigning puzzles! Puzzles must be in original box with all the pieces and box must be taped shut. The box must be in good shape.
